Firewall Configuration

For seamless screen sharing and remote support, please ensure your network settings, including firewall configurations, are set up correctly. This guide will help you get started and troubleshoot common network issues.

In some environments with strict firewall rules, the application may have trouble selecting a free port automatically. By default, the program chooses a random port from the dynamic range (49152–65535). However, if the firewall is set to block all unspecified ports, the application may fail to start or function correctly.

  • Allow Dynamic Ports
  • Configure your firewall to allow incoming and outgoing traffic on the dynamic port range (49152–65535). This will enable the application to select and use a free port without being blocked by the firewall.
  • Contact Network Administrator
  • If you do not have permission to change firewall settings, please contact your network administrator with this information. They can help configure the firewall to ensure the application can run smoothly.
